The EPVMA celebrates the contributions made by animals to the emotional and physical well-being of their owners, while promoting responsible pet ownership and increasing awareness of veterinary medical services. Since our inception in 1956, the people of El Paso have distinguished themselves by their care and concern for pets and animals through the attention to their health and welfare. Pets provide love, companionship, devotion and loyalty, enriching the lives of their owners and the community in general. Human progress throughout the ages has been reliant on the aid and assistance received from animals as helpmates and companions.
