Vernon Burke, DMD, MD, FACS

In addition to tooth extraction and dental implant treatment, Dr. Burke enjoys full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His clinical focus is Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery, Orthognathic (jaw moving) Surgery, Facial Trauma, Facial Reconstruction, and adult and pediatric Benign Pathology Treatment. Dr. Burke also provides conservative and surgical treatment for Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorders. In October 2016 Dr. Burke became the first Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in this region to be recognized as a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.

Reo P. Pugao, DDS, MD, FACS

As part of the High Desert Oral & Facial Surgery team, Dr. Pugao practices a broad scope of surgical treatments to the head and neck. His professional affiliations include memberships with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and American College of Surgeons. He is currently working on publishing research studies with his mentors, Dr. Daniel Spagnoli and Dr. Jon Perenack.

Hans Brockhoff II, DDS, MD, FACS

His clinical practice focuses on the surgical management of head and neck cancers including oral cavity, oropharynx, salivary gland, thyroid, and skull base. Additionally, he performs complex facial reconstruction using free tissue transfers and microneural surgery. He has extensive experience in correction of defects of the facial structures, maxillofacial trauma, and oral reconstruction.

David M. Yates, DMD, MD, FACS

He serves on the national committee for Cleft, Craniofacial, and Pediatric Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a reviewer for the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Journal. He regularly participates in international humanitarian trips for cleft lip and palate and craniofacial surgery and has been featured in multiple news stories about the children he has impacted. He gives numerous presentations at different conferences around the country and has operated on kids from all over the world.

Natasha Fürchtgott, DDS, MS, FACS

She has co-authored the chapters “The Use of Lasers in Maxillofacial Surgery” and “Revision Surgery for Cleft Malformations” for the third edition of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by Raymond J. Fonseca, DMD. Her clinical practice special interests lie in treating pediatric craniofacial anomalies as well as providing advanced complex implant rehabilitation.

Arshad Kaleem DMD, MD, FACS

Dr. Kaleem’s interests are in the treatment and management of head and neck cancer and reconstructive surgery, correction of dentofacial deformities, facial reconstruction, microneural surgery, maxillofacial trauma, surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea and dental/oral rehabilitation of cancer and trauma patients.

KEYUR NAIK, DDS, MD

He specializes in both hospital-based tumor/cancer resections and reconstructive procedures. Dr Naik also has special interest in office-based oral surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth extraction and dental implant placement.

Michael Siew, DDS, MD

He was also awarded the Earl C. Maston Scholarship and the International College of Dentists Frank Burns Guthrie Memorial Scholarship. Prior to joining OMS residency, he completed a one-year internship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.

Blake Nguyen Lam, MD, DDS

In his free time, he was actively attending various continuing education courses including SORG modules, AAOMS annual meeting and AAOMS Implant conference. He served as the chief resident at Parkland Memorial Hospital, University of Texas – Southwestern Medical Center, Children’s Dallas, Dallas VA Medical Center, Presbyterian Hospital, John Peter Smith Hospital, Cook Children’s, and Zale Lipshy Hospital. Covering 5 level I and II trauma hospitals and tertiary care centers, he received extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, head and neck trauma and reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, dental implantology, facial cosmetic surgery including rhinoplasty and facial augmentation surgery, pathology and cleft lip and palate surgery.
